Facebook Messenger for Windows Released

Facebook has released the official "Facebook Messenger" for windows Desktops. Facebook made this sudden release because the application was leaked.  Facebook Messenger is similar to Yahoo Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. The main features of this app are:
  • Chat and message with your friends on Facebook.
  • Get quick notifications about what's goin on.
  • Get the latest updates from your friends in ticker.

One nice feature is that, the messenger window allows you to dock it to the right side of your computer screen which makes it look like a "Desktop sidebar". To dock it, just click on the small icon at the extreme bottom right corner of the messenger window. Alternatively you can right click on messenger icon in system Tray and select "Dock Window To Right". To put it back you can either deselect the option or click on the same icon at the bottom right corner of the Messenger window. Facebook Messenger can only be installed in Windows 7 at the moment, further there is no video call option or Group chat. As this is just a Beta version, we can expect some changes in the later versions.
